چکیده
Abstract Social exclusion refers to a process by which “individuals or groups...are denied the opportunity of participation, whether they actually desire participate not” (MacLeod et al. 2017; Barry 2002,p.16). Against this background, nursing residents may be regarded experiencing heightened risk because their need spatially included has not been prioritised traditional architecture urban planning. More recently, alternative concepts integrating within communities received increasing attention policy practice initiatives. The overall aim chapter is present knowledge about innovative approaches prevent from space life. Three cases are chosen Denmark one Netherlands. four share reducing residents. Based on cases, we discuss different ways design can contribute combatting exclusion.
